Vinyl DJ Tuition  Classic turntable skills, beat‑matching by ear, and hands‑on analogue technique.

Our vinyl tuition classes are ideal for beginners who wish to learn the art form of DJing in it's purest form, and for established DJs who just wish to brush up on their skills. Learn how to master the decks with authentic methods of beat-matching by ear, precision phrasing, dropping effects and transition techniques. Manage sound level outputs and controls, perfect timing and beat-counting and understand bars and phrases.  Learn about track structure, music management and how to create the perfect playlist. Perform basic scratch techniques and advance your skills to 3 and 4-deck mixing.

Digital DJ Tuition  Modern mixing, waveform reading, software skills, and multi‑deck digital performance.

Our Digital DJ sessions help beginners and intermediate learners build professional skills using industry‑standard software and equipment. You’ll get clear, hands‑on guidance that makes digital DJing feel natural and exciting.  Learn to read waveforms, count BPM, and understand bars, phrasing, and track structure — the foundations of confident mixing. We’ll sharpen your beat‑matching and teach you smooth, musical transitions with bpm key mixing.​  As you progress, you’ll unlock advanced skills like 3‑deck and 4‑deck mixing, giving you the creative control to craft dynamic, professional‑quality sets.

Equipment Overview

One‑to‑one sessions give you the confidence to work with industry standard DJ equipment and software, helping you understand track structure through waveform reading, BPM counting, and detailed track analysis. You’ll sharpen your beat‑matching with accurate timing, learn to lock in your transitions, and drop your phrase points with precision for clean, professional mixes.

Software - Rekordbox / Serato

Learn how to navigate the software programme, export music and analysis tracks, record your mixes, create playlists and manage your music.

Timing & Beatmatching

Understand the concept of beatmatch and timing with beat-counting, bars and phrases. Perfect your mixing skills by looping and sampling effects. Manage sound outputs and levels, understand tempo/speed and sync controls.  Learn how to read track structure with waveform.
