Introduction

Musical Youth in the Community provides DJ tuition and educational music workshops to young people and children age 11-19 in the South-East and all over the UK. Our group sessions offer students the opportunity to learn a new skill set that will boost their confidence and increase their social skills, bringing them an element of education, well-being, positivity and good vibes.  Since 2016 Lady E has collaborated with youth schemes and organisations in the North, South-East and London teaching fun and engaging DJ sessions to students, young people and children in need. In addition Lady E has delivered expert tuition with performance enhancement programmes in music and frequency to a variety of professional academy football clubs and first team players in and around the UK

The Benefits of DJing for young people

1. Listening to music and DJing helps to reduce stress and anxiety, providing a calm effect on the mind and body.

2. DJing has the ability to uplift mood and make people feel more positive and happy. This can be especially helpful for young people struggling with depression or low self-esteem. 

3. Music can bring people together and provide a sense of community, creating opportunities for social interaction and connection. 

4. Playing music and DJing requires focus, attention, and memory, all of which can improve cognitive function in young people. 

5. DJing provides a creative outlet and can be a form of expression and creativity for young people, allowing them to explore their emotions and thoughts in a safe and healthy way. 

Donate and Support

We aim to provide quality music education to local students and underprivileged children and young people in rural areas.  As you may know the education system in these areas is often inadequate, and many children are unable to pursue their dreams due to a lack of resources.

At Musical Youth in the Community, we believe that every child deserves an equal opportunity to receive quality education, regardless of their background. We reach out to you to ask for donations to support our cause.  Your donation will help us provide music equipment, books, training programmes, online tuition, music production / pro scratch DJ classes and educational materials to children in need.  It will also help us fund venue hire, additional tutor training and help provide ongoing support groups and workshops.
